You too dey worry



It's no news that as students, we are almost always anxious. If it isnisn't that test, it's that attendance, that un read note, that looming exam, that person, that cash and so on. We too dey worry.


So I decided to compile some easy ways to assist persons in enjoying some peace of mind.

1. Let go of things u can't control. You have written that test, yet you are so concerned about it like your worrying can boost your score. You will just give yourself a very high BP. If you cannot change it, do not waste time thinking of it.

2. Create a wonderful life instead of a hoping life. When last did you turn up, relax or have fun. Yet you hope daily that you can enjoy life. My dear, life is short, enjoy your youth but enjoy it wisely. Watch that movie, play that game, visit that person, have that party but do it with wisdom. Stop hoping for it, CREATE IT!!!

3. Choose the path of trust: trust that things will be better.

4. Forget the 'what ifs' replace it with 'I'll handle it'. Believe you can handle anything that comes your way. Stop looking at the difficulty of things and start looking at the inherent strength and skill you have.

5. Collect heroes. You are not the first person to pass through that situation, infact people have gone through worse. So, look for heroes who have travailed and tap some inspiration. You need it.

6. Focus on the learning. Life is a teacher and we are her students. So don't focus on her style of teaching but instead on the lesson and move on.

7. Its all happening perfectly. Everything adds together in the right time. You may never know the grand design but you can be sure it will add up well.

8. Focus on the blessing. Roses have thorns. But it will be pityful if you payed more attention on the thorns and forgot the beautiful rose.

9. Get involved. Don't be a passerby in life. Make your mark. Get involved in something creative. Something that will make you be remembered. Plus the more you do, the more fulfilled you become.
