Remember we promise to bring us a brief run down on the
activities of health week right? ok so here it is, for the benefit of those
outside the loop.
DAY 1(7th April, 10AM)
PUMSA rally, were health sensitization will be made all over
the university community.
DAY 2(8th April, 10AM)
A Seminar, focusing on the theme of this year’s health week
(Our Role in the Millennium Development Goals: A healthier Nigeria starts with
you) will be given by Prof. Alice R Nte, Dr. K. Green (VC NMA Rivers state).
Also, an inter-faculty debate and quiz competition will be
conducted among nine faculties including College of Health Sciences.
DAY 3(9th April, 8AM)
Rural Outreach to Omerelu Community in Ikwere LGA, R/S. There will be conduction of free Health services and seminars.
DAY 4(10th April, 4PM)
There will be a Sports finale at UPTH football pitch, in the presence of our general sponsors and patrons.
DAY 5(11th April, 7PM)
PUMSA award/variety night. That Friday promises to be a show stopper as numerous activities like the ‘Miss PUMSA’ pageant competition, the ‘PUMSA fashion show’, and musical presentation by celebrated Nigerian Artists and lots more at the Arena beside Le Meridien Hotel GRA Port Harcourt.
DAY 6(12th April, 6PM)
PUMSA/PUMGRADA dinner night. A special moment to celebrate the week with our Alumni body, sponsors, and well wishers.
DAY 7(April 13th)
Thanksgiving service at Our Saviors Chapel, Abuja Campus….. There is every reason to thank God.
Now we know the lineup of events, DON’T MISS OUT!!! Thank you.
